DREAMS COME TRUE

Women constitute around half of the total world population. Women empowerment and livelihood creation is promoted and spoken widely across the globe. Yet, their role in the business community is majorly as workforce than as entrepreneurs. And, In India, women have made a comparatively late entry into the business scenario mainly due to the orthodox and traditional socio-cultural environment.

As a visionary solution to this, and to empower women on grassroot level and create livelihood for them, our honorable Minister for Information Technology & Digital Services, Dr. P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan, have launched project ‘Vaan’ as a pilot in his constituency. This is to promote Inclusive Mass Entrepreneurship among women from the economically weaker sections of the society.
